The first step to being fair is understanding what your selfishness looks like…The mind hides what it doesn’t want to face. How do you justify your selfishness and what impact does it have in your life?
How is selfishness of others affecting your life? Don’t cheat yourself to be fair, understand the competing points of view and deal in the truth of the matter.
Observe if you deal in the truth of the matter, does it change your behavior with and toward others? Can you be fair and achieve the same desired outcomes?
This week identify and log each time you do something selfish. Understand how you rationalize your thinking to justify your selfish behavior. What impact does your justification for selfishness have on others?
