Good things and Bad things will happen during life, and you can’t control either; however, you can prepare!
How do you prepare? Well everyone is different and so is every situation requiring preparation, there is likely not a one size fits all approach to preparation. I will only share what works for me on this topic.
The approach that brings me the most success in my preparation follows:
The first and foremost activity is meditating for a moment in a quiet place to clear my mind from all noise and thoughts; then, I think about my parents and grandparents for a few minutes and the sacrifices they made for me and my existence.
Next, I focus on what I am working toward and what success looks like to me. Then, I think about and write down all of the things that I think can go wrong and how I would respond.
Once I am comfortable understanding each response, I typically will go for a walk or do something else for a short while.
When I return to my preparation activity, I think about everything going exactly to plan and I play it out step by step.
Finally, I execute.
Now this is only one approach to preparation, it works for me. I only share this as an example.
-Prepare for a new day, new challenges, and new opportunities!
